Please take a moment to look at the Synod Team’s Response to the Document for the Continental Stage of the Synod (button below) Archbishop Mark, after reflecting on all of the responses from the Team, parishes and parishioners, has submitted a response of discernment on the three themes to the Bishops’ Conference. How much of what was produced in the parish report was reflected in the diocesan report? What progress do you feel has been made in addressing some of the issues you identified in April 2022? Q2 What were the areas where there were major differences between what you considered important and the issues that were addressed in the Diocesan Report? How might some of those matters be introduced into our work as a parish? Have you considered the Recommendations at the end of the Diocesan Report? How relevant are any of them to our work? Q3 In Questions 1 & 2 you will have reflected on the process of the synod in our parish and the product of it - what are we starting to do. What are the key messages that all parishes could use to decide how they manage to share the faith and to support those on the periphery? Are there general truths that you would want to share? What is God calling us to be through the synodal process?

The Synod team are meeting with JR Diaz [Chaplain at Corpus Christi HS] to discuss how we might help the secondary age pupils in our parish. The meeting is on Monday 6th June at 7.00pm for one hour via Zoom. All parishioners with an interest in how we support our youth are welcome to join us. The Parish Synod representatives have met to discuss the key messages from the Parish Synod report. The key messages and outline of way forward will be shared with parishioners next week.

A copy of our parish synodal Final report for parishioners to view. The report is going to be submitted to the diocese on Monday 21 March 2022.
